Obscure Miniatures
"No miniature is too obscure for us!"28mm Argentinians ready to go!
Obscure.Explanations 2/26/12
Hello to everyone! We here at Obscure Miniatures just want to say that we are still here and producing miniatures. The projects aren't going as fast as we like but they are still moving forward and will continue to do so. Our goal with the Great Paraguayan War is to get enough of the basic troops (command, infantry, artillery and cavalry) for each side out and then start to flesh out all the sides with various uniforms and poses.
Welcome the next army for this conflict as Argentina (Yehhh!). Here we now have command and an infantry packs with mixed poses. Coming out next will be the artillery crew (being sculpted as we speak).
Following this will be cavalry for Paraguay and Argentina (including gauchos). After this we will move onto Brazil and the Uruguay.
We have gotten suggestions for special units in the fighting to be done. Please keep these coming. We want to know what you want and when we start fleshing out the line these will be the first to go.
We are gamers doing this as a hobby for a line of figures that we want to play with and hope that you want as well. Your support in this endeavor is greatly appreciated and we will see this line through to the end. Thank you! Best to all!

Great news, we finally got things moving in the direction we want to go. Below you will find a selection of our 28mm range of Paraguayan figures for sale. In the coming weeks you will also see the 15mm figures come out as well. I know, I know, we were starting with the 15mm first but the 28mm just happened to come out ahead of them. We’re wargamers for God’s sakes give us a break! Especially on our first line. I just need to work on the production molds for the 15‘s and we will be ready to go with them as well. The master molds are done and we also have a bunch off greens coming in for this range too. I’ll hopefully will have enough time to take photos before dropping in the Vulcanizer.
The 28mm also have coming out next a cannon as well as a 4 man crew (Which are done with their very own production mold, just waiting for the cannon.) as well as 4 more infantrymen in march attack with chiripas on. Cavalry will be coming out at some point but we are going to be starting with an army that the Paraguayan’s can fight. In this case it will be Argentine, then Brazil and last Uruguay. Once the core armies are done we will start fleshing them out. So with that said and with out further ado here are the 28mm Paraguayan.

Well, our mission is to do an Obscure line of figures and with hope in 2 scales when possible. In keeping with this, here is a sneak peak of our Paraguayan’s in 28mm. These are sculpted by Robi Baker who has done some great work for Wargames Foundry and Gripping Beast.
With much effort and a little luck we will also have some packs of Paraguayan’s in 18mm at Fall-In. We just got back from our sculpture 12 new poses. These figures include a command pack, march attack and advancing. We will post more information on this within the week and before we leave for Fall-In.
